As we look ahead to the 40th Tokyo International Film Festival next year, we’re launching a special campaign inviting you to suggest a film you’d love to see at the festival. One film will be selected from the submissions and screened at the 40th TIFF in 2027.
 
What film would you love to see at the 40th Tokyo International Film Festival next year?
Whether it’s a timeless classic or a much-talked-about film that has never been released in Japan, tell us about a film that means something special to you. We’ll select one film from your suggestions and screen it at next year’s festival. Help us add your choice to the 40th TIFF lineup!
 
Submission Period: October 26 (Mon) – November 4 (Wed), 2026 (during the 39th TIFF)
How to Enter:
1. Social Media: Post on X or Instagram using the hashtag #TIFFplus1.
2. At the Venue: Submit your suggestion in the special collection box at LEXUS MEETS…
3. Online: Submit your suggestion through the dedicated form on the official TIFF website.

 
Special Prize: One pair of tickets to the selected film’s screening will be awarded by lottery to one entrant who suggested that film. (Please note that winners are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and any other related expenses.)
