About Ticket Purchase
Tickets will be available on the festival's official website from 10:00 on Oct. 17 (Sat), in four batches by category.
Tickets for wheelchair-accessible seating will go on sale starting at 13:00 on Oct. 18. (Sun).
Additionally, for select films, there will be pre-order lottery sales from Oct. 7 through Oct. 9 (*Lottery registration is open from 15:00 on Oct. 1 (Thu) to 14:00 on Oct. 4 (Sun).

Follow the instructions on Online Ticket Site to complete your purchase.
Tickets for the 39th TIFF will not be sold at the box offices of each screening theater. Tickets may be purchased from the online ticket site or at the Yurakucho Station ticket center, which will be set up after October 26.

Using the domain specified reception
When using mobile phone domain specified reception, please add "@ml.smart-theater.com".
When using au (@ezweb.ne.jp)
in addition to the above, add "@ml.smart-theater.com" to the "Spoofing Suppression List".
You can purchase tickets until 20 minutes after the start of the screening.
The number of tickets available for purchase is limited to 2 per order for all screenings.
Student same-day tickets can be purchased on TIFF Official Website and at TIFF Ticket Center in front of Yurakucho Station from 0:00 of the day of the screening for each film (only for films with seats remaining).
Please bring your student ID when purchasing and entering the theater.
If you do not present your student ID, you will be charged the difference.
In case the purchase deadline for reserved tickets has expired, tickets may be re-sold.
However, we cannot inform whether or not resale will be available or when it will begin.
Same-day tickets will not be sold for films which advance tickets have been sold out.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Pre-school children are not allowed to enter the theater, except for screenings designated by the organizer.
*Children over 3 years old require a ticket.
In accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Ordinance for the Sound Development of Youth, children under 18 years of age are not allowed to enter the theater between 23:00 and 4:00 the next morning. The same applies when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
About Receiving Tickets
The QR code for admission can be obtained at [Confirmation URL] 24 hours before the start of the screening.
You need your confirmation number and the phone number you provided at the time of purchase to obtain the QR code for admission.
Confirmation numbers will not be reissued.
Please bring your ID and visit the TIFF Ticket Center in front of Yurakucho Station from Oct. 26.
We will confirm your identity and give you a ticket.
About Admission
Please obtain the QR code for admission from the [Confirmation URL] in the purchase completion email and present it to the staff at the entrance of the theater.
The QR code can be printed or displayed on a smartphone or tablet.
*Please bring your ID with you as we may need to verify your identity.
Fraudulent acts such as resale of tickets, ticket numbers and QR codes for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited.
If it is discovered that you have purchased a ticket from a source other than TIFF Official Website or TIFF Ticket Center in front of Yurakucho Station, you will be denied admission.
Please inquire the staff at the Ticket Support Desk located at the theater entrance area.
*You may be asked to present your ID to confirm your purchase.
To guests arriving with wheelchairs
The guide procedures and the number of wheelchair spaces available will vary depending on each theater. Please be sure to confirm prior to purchase.

- There is no wheelchair area at Cine Switch Ginza.
- There are no seats installed in the wheelchair spaces.
- Disability discounts do not apply as these are special screenings.
Other Questions
TIFF screenings are not eligible for point services at each theater such as TOHO POINT.
Tickets for the Tokyo International Film Festival are not eligible for the parking ticket service at each venue.
Yes. Refunds will be issued if a screening is canceled in advance, or if it is interrupted mid-way and subsequently canceled.
However, no refunds will be provided if the screening resumes after an interruption. Please note that decisions regarding cancellations or interruptions are made by the organizers and will be announced at the venue as well as on our official website and social media channels.
