I am deeply honored to serve as the Festival Navigator for this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival. For me, cinema has always been something truly special—a gateway to new worlds and fresh perspectives. Working as an actor, I have witnessed time and again how a single film can transcend borders and languages to move people’s hearts and reshape how they see the world. TIFF is a magical place where films and movie lovers from across the globe come together. To step into the role of Festival Navigator for such a wonderful event is an absolute privilege. I look forward to discovering unseen films, emerging talents, and new perspectives right alongside all of you. This autumn, let’s come together to celebrate the unique cinematic encounters that happen only in Tokyo.
